Office 365 Management Software

A single platform for total Office 365 management

The Nova Management Platform consists of integrated components and services that work together to provide deeper operational visibility and control of your Microsoft Office 365 environment, while removing a significant load from IT through sophisticated automation, reporting, delegation and policy control in one interface.

This short guide provides a description of the architectural elements of this advanced Office 365 management software.

With comprehensive Office 365 reporting and fully-customizable dashboards, you can track usage and optimize your environment. Delve deep into your tenant and automate reports with greater flexibility and precision than native tooling, as you collect, view, filter, aggregate, present, and share information captured from your tenant. Reports can be shared, scheduled, printed out, or downloaded for use within other tools that accept CSV format.

Adoption Accelerator arms you with the granular usage data you need to locate and segment users that are lagging behind, it then enables you to build sophisticated, multi-phase email campaigns with tips and training content. Once your campaign is up and running, you can track progress, and narrow your scope as your adoption strategy starts working. Find out more about driving Office 365 user adoption.

License Lifecycle Management

Nova’s intelligent Office 365 license management function gives you clear visibility into unassigned licenses, empowering you to drive adoption, reassign where needed, and reduce cost.

Example of how Office 365 management software can be used for license management

Delegation and Policy Control (DPC)

Sophisticated delegated administration enables granular roles and responsibilities to be assigned to selected users, applying those roles to precisely limited scopes. DPC also provides policy-based automation for authorization, service configuration, and license assignment.

These policies can be targeted by Azure AD or on-premises AD attributes, including Group or Team membership, custom directory attributes, country, and organizational unit membership. By utilizing the least-privilege administration model, the business value of the platform extends beyond IT administration and support.

Service Desk First Call Resolution

Greater visibility into your O365 environment helps improve First Call Resolution.

Enterprise Tenant Management

Large organizations with complex environments can achieve easier Office 365 tenant management.

Multi-Tenant Management

Nova empowers you to manage multiple Office 365 tenants from the same platform.

Service Monitoring

Monitor performance and availability of the global Microsoft 365 service network by client-side agents known as beacons. Quadrotech maintains a public network of beacons that monitor each of Microsoft’s worldwide Office 365 data centers, and enterprise customers can install their own private beacons to monitor any locations, workloads, or sites they choose. The beacons perform multiple tests, the results of which are evaluated by each beacon according to rules set by the customer, giving the enterprise control of triggering of alerts.

Security & Audit

S&A helps you define and enforcsecurity and governance policies via exception reporting.  This includes notification of specific trigger actions as they occur and the ability to investigate user and administrator activity.

Pre-defined exception reports are designed to support rapid implementation of policies that secure O365 usage from external attack and leakage of intellectual property. Reports include multi-factor authentication, restrictions on email forwarding, password strength and change frequency.

Migration Command Center

The MCC is designed to support tenant mergers, splits, and consolidation activity by providing reporting, analysis, planning, and management tools focused on tenant-to-tenant migration, divestiture, and consolidation.
