Integration: The Final Step in Change Management
The final step in successful change management is the Integration stage. Here’s how to bring everything together. Watch now.
A lot can happen in 12 months. If you cast your mind back to this time last year, you may remember the announcement we made at Ignite 2016: the decision to acquire Cogmotive, and our excitement for the talent and technology that this move would bring.
We’ve been very busy over this past year: we have a fresh new look, we’ve developed even more innovative migration solutions, and this blog post is just the start of our Ignite announcements. There’s lots to come – as you will see over the next few days.
Our solutions are diverse, but they’re connected. They span across on-premises and cloud platforms, they can take you through the entire email migration process, and ease the transition into Office 365 with advanced reporting and security tools that deliver ongoing value and insight. We also know that the story doesn’t end here, IT is constantly transforming, and so are the needs and requirements surrounding it.
As part of our ongoing process to bring all our solutions together, and demonstrate our dedication to helping customers bring their data back under their control, and get more out of Office 365, we are extremely excited to unveil a new name for the Cogmotive Reporting suite.
Don’t worry, it’s still the same great reporting application, we just have a fresh new look. No data will be lost, no settings will be changed, and all configurations will be maintained. Each Cogmotive product has a new name to incorporate the ‘Radar’ theme, and a new location on the Quadrotech website.
As before, Radar Reporting has three integrated reporting modules, that can be used in combination or standalone – their names have also changed:
We wanted a name that better aligned our reporting solution with the Quadrotech solution set that they have joined. For our existing reporting customers, the name Radar should make a lot of sense. Like a Radar, our solutions aim to help you view your entire environment, and make it easier to spot issues, opportunities, and threats. Radar Reporting can be used across Office 365 to review your settings, audit activity, and identify areas where security should be increased, costs could be reduced, or service adoption should be targeted.
I’m an existing customer, what can I expect to change? If you’re an existing customer, please be assured that very little will change for you, and there will be minimal disruption. The application view, configured dashboards, reports and settings will all stay the same, you will simply be logging in from a different domain, (perhaps not even that if you have Single Sign on enabled). The only thing that will change in the actual application is the module name and logo in the top bar. If you have any problems, questions or concerns regarding this change, please contact us.
Please note: If you’re an existing customer, your service account in Office 365 will still begin with ‘CogmotiveReports@’. Going forward, new customers will have a service account name that reflects the new name.
How do I log in?
Same place as normal. There will be an automatic redirect set up to take you to the new domain where you can log in. You can also log in using the following link: https://reports.o365radar.com/
Where’s the demo?
Our fully functional demo is still available here. If you want to see what the reporting application can do, this is a great way to explore the tool, test the functionality, and see all the reports. If you like what you see, you can always take a free 14-day trial to see what Radar Reporting can show you in your own environment.
Where can I find support?
Our support center has also moved to the Quadrotech site, and you can find it here. We have a range of support articles covering common FAQs, and topics, but if you can’t find what you need, there are also details on how to log a ticket with our dedicated support team.
What’s happening to the blog, and the resource center?
If you’re a fan of the Cogmotive blog, or you’ve listened to one of our webinars, used one of our ‘how-to guides’, or read a white paper, don’t worry, these resources are not disappearing! In fact, they will continue to grow. The Radar Reporting products will move to their new home on the Quadrotech website, but the Cogmotive website will live on as a fully-dedicated Resource Center and blog.
We’ve always tried to provide you with useful, practical advice on Office 365, and this will continue to be the case, covering a range of topics, including Office 365, data migration, and reporting – as well as the usual industry news, reviews, PowerShell scripts and tips you’re used to seeing.
