Unable to sync Samsung Galaxy S3 on Office 365 and Android

A lot of people (including me) are having problems using ActiveSync to connect to Office 365 using a Samsung Galaxy S3 running Android.
This issue seems to be caused by device policies. The good people at Optimum Performance Strategies have come up with a fix on their blog. Thanks guys!
