Schedule and Automatically Email Office 365 Reports

It is with great pleasure that I announce the ability to schedule our Office 365 Reports using our Office 365 reporting software! Many of our customers have requested this over the past few months and, as always, we’ve listened and delivered.

We know that System Administrators and IT Managers are busy people. We also know that senior managers and CIO’s like to see regular reports. Nova: Reporting & Analytics now solves both these issues by allowing all of our reports, including any customizations you have made, to be automatically emailed in either CSV or PDF format to anyone you wish on whatever schedule you like!

How it Works

Imagine your CIO wants to see a report of which mailboxes have not been logged in to in the past month. They want this report in their Inbox at 8am on the first day of the month. With Cogmotive Reports set this up to happen autmatically with a few short clicks.

First, click fire up the Inactive Users report and click the 30 Days Filter to show users who didn’t log in last month.

Then hit the Schedule Button, type in the email address of the CIO and write a description of the report.

Choose the Monthly Schedule and select the correct date and time.

This report will now be automatically emailed to your CIO on the first day of the month and you no longer have to do a thing.

What’s Next

This is just one of the many things we’re working on at the moment. We’re currently testing a bunch of new reports as well as some performance improvements which will speed up the reports for some of our larger 10 to 50 thousand seat customers.
