Integration: The Final Step in Change Management
The final step in successful change management is the Integration stage. Here’s how to bring everything together. Watch now.
Today we are announcing the availability of our Public Folder Analysis component, part of Project ADAM. ADAM, our Advanced Data Analytics and Migration Engine, intelligently suggests and executes migration paths from Public Folders to Office 365 Groups, Shared Mailboxes and alternate locations. As Product Owner for ADAM, I am pleased to release the summary analytics component that helps understand the size, makeup and scope of your public folder estate, thereby helping our customers understand the scope of a potential migration before embarking on the actual migration of the data.
[vc_column width=”1/4″][vc_column width=”3/4″]We are releasing the ADAM Summary Analytics Component (SAC) free of charge in the run-up to Microsoft WPC 2016, which provides you with a report helping you understand the requirements and steps you need to take to migrate your public folder estate. Most importantly, however, it gives you critical sizing and key information about the types of data stored in your public folders.
Once you have signed up using the contact form at the end of this blog, you will receive a document and subsequent download which contains the ADAM SAC. Run the tool against your public folder estate, and this will generate an XML document containing the analytics. This process typically takes between 10 minutes and 1 hour for public folder hierarchies running into the hundreds of thousands of folders.
Once you have the XML document, you can then proceed to submit it to generate a full report of your public folder hierarchy, and recommendations for migrating them successfully to your chosen targets. We’ll even recommend the best location for different parts of the hierarchy for you.
Not only do you receive a free report with summary information about your public folder estate, you can also apply for a 15% discount off the cost of your migrating using ADAM.
The report will help you understand the types and depth of data that you have in your public folders, and give you accurate information about the size of the folder hierarchy that needs to be migrated. This report is yours, free of charge, whether you elect to migrate your public folders with ADAM or not.
Simply visit here to register your interest. If you meet the criteria for using the tool, we’ll be in touch with the document and next steps to download and get the tool running to generate your report.
