Microsoft Inspire 2019: Our Tips and Tricks
Another year, another Inspire! We will see you again for another partner-packed event. The event is going to be held on July 14-18. We’re looking forward to attending sessions, hearing about Microsoft’s strategic direction for next year and, most of all, meeting more partners! In this blog, we’ll give you a rundown of what we’re most excited for and what to look out for.
Pro-Tip: If you’re attending, you should have also received a ‘What to know before you go’ email from Microsoft, which contains all the pertinent logistical info you’ll need for the week. We highly recommend flagging this email or filing it for easy reference next week.
2019 Corenote Speakers at Microsoft Inspire
The Corenote speaker sessions at Inspire are given in true Vegas-style: entertaining, engaging and showstopping. Last years speaker session looked like one of the big shows in town, and it certainly lived up to it. This year you can expect great things from the Corenote Speakers: Satya Nadella, Brad Smith, Judson Althoff, and Gavriella Schuster, in an unmissable setting in the main ampitheatre. Joining them will be the featured speakers for 2019, a mixture of critically-acclaimed authors and thought leaders from the industry. Get ready for some inspiring sessions from Simon Sinek, Rebecca Alexander, Jacqueline Jones, Polly LaBarre, and Dr. Kendrick Wong. You can find out more about the line-up here, or, you can check out the speaker directory here.
All Corenotes will be presented live at T-Mobile Arena. Transportation to T-Mobile Arena will run from 6:30 AM–7:45 AM each day.
Pro-Tip: If you can’t make it to T-Mobile Arena, all Microsoft Inspire Corenotes will be live-streamed at partner.microsoft.com
How to navigate the event?
The best place to start is the Session Catalog, here, you will find all the information about the innovative sessions on offer. We won’t be speaking this year; however, we’ll be attending some of the following session types (you can easily filter the session catalog according to these categories (and more):
- Partnering with Microsoft: Build & Grow
- GTM & Co-Sell
- Scale through P2P
Alternatively, if you’re worried about cell signal, you can download the Inspire 2019 Agenda here. In the agenda, you can expect everything you need to know about sessions, speakers, daily hours, presentations and more.
Pro-tip: Try to build your schedule before arriving onsite – there is a LOT of good content to choose from, partners to meet, and parties to attend, and it can be overwhelming once you arrive. At a minimum, make a list of ‘must-see’ sessions and partners to visit so you don’t fly home with regrets.
Last year, Microsoft treated their partners and employees to a truly memorable performance by Bruno Mars at the raceway. This really begged the question, who could top that?! Well this year, they have outdone themselves, with a band who can pull through under pressure, and, without a doubt, will rock you. None other than Queen and Adam Lambert will be playing to all attendees this year.
Pro-Tip: The event is at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds. It is outdoors and it will be HOT. Wear comfortable clothing and hydrate.
