Microsoft Ignite 2019 is up and running, and boy did it start with a bang! As soon as the morning’s keynotes were over, thousands of IT professionals descended on the conference hall, and booth #841 – Quadrotech’s home for the week – became a hive of activity.
Our limited edition “Kiss My SaaS” t-shirts were a big hit with the swag hunters, but the real buzz came from the crowds queueing to demo Nova, our game-changing Office 365 management software.

Microsoft Ignite 2019: Day One Takeaways
One of the most intriguing announcements from Satya Nadella, Microsoft’s CEO, was Project Silica; a new “cold storage system” that essentially allows data to be preserved on glass discs, which is said to be more robust and reliable than traditional hard drives. It’ll be fascinating to see how this scales in the coming years.
