Integration: The Final Step in Change Management
The final step in successful change management is the Integration stage. Here’s how to bring everything together. Watch now.
It’s been a seriously busy year in the email migration market. As 2015 draws to a close, it’s worth reflecting on how the market has changed, and some of the developments we have seen which have represented game changers. The introduction of Windows 10 and the effect on PSTs, Microsoft’s Import Service for legacy data (and our subsequent analysis), and Office 365 groups which represent the future collaborative platform to replace public folders, all have significantly accelerated the number of data migration projects we have undertaken this year. I’ll let Peter Kozak talk more about that in his blog… don’t want to steal his thunder!
I am a believer that the legacy archive market has reached its peak. Given the significant rise of Office 365, cheaper storage for on premises systems and the move toward standalone eDiscovery and compliance systems, the need for legacy archives on premise is diminishing significantly. That is why we are seeing such a significant movement towards cloud vendors and hosting, and toward pure Exchange on-premises hosting – it’s time to drop that legacy archive, clean-up those pesky PST files and bring your data home.
So what better time than to launch our first eBook – “The Complete Guide to Eradicating PST Files” – co-written with Paul Cunningham MVP and edited by Tony Redmond MVP, giving complete guidance to finally discover, process and remove those PST files and reap the benefits of the cloud. Get a sneak-peak of the Foreword and Preface here, and lookout for full launch shortly!
