Integration: The Final Step in Change Management
The final step in successful change management is the Integration stage. Here’s how to bring everything together. Watch now.
In a few days, we will be heading out to Microsoft Inspire (9th – 13th July 2017) for five days of sessions, keynotes, and socialising! We’re going to meet as many people as possible, and catch up with our partners and fellow techies. If you’re coming to Washington, D.C., make sure to stop for a chat at booth #1625. Since Cogmotive didn’t exhibit last year, this year we’re even more excited to meet you all, and we’re especially looking forward to showing off our new partner programs! We’ll be giving demos, hosting a competition and launching something very exciting!
Before You Take Off
Did you know that Microsoft has provided a ‘Know Before You Go Guide‘? There’s also an app you can use to make sure your first day goes smoothly; it enables you to make your own agenda and follow the schedule you’ve chosen. Not only that, the app has an interactive map and networking function to contact other attendees, complete with messaging and meeting request features! Inspire is going to have loads of great talks and sessions, but even with the best intentions, it’s impossible to see everything. Sometimes you’ll have to pick and choose the ones to make a beeline for.
For an event as big as Inspire, you can bet everyone’s going to pull out all the stops to impress, but there’s one series of events every year that draws everyone in without fail: the ‘Vision Keynote’ speeches. Vision Keynote speakers are always top experts in their field, and 2016 speakers included Microsoft COO Kevin Turner, who discussed how to leverage partnerships with Microsoft and drive company success, and Phil Sorgen, head of the Worldwide Partner Group, who discussed growing cloud opportunities. This year’s line-up includes Ron Huddleston, CVP of Microsoft’s One Commercial Partner business, Gavriella Schuster, CVP of Worldwide Channels and Programs, and of course Satya Nadella, the CEO of Microsoft. We’re looking forward to hearing some interesting key strategies and insights, as well as future plans and directions.
As for panels and talks that we’re looking forward to, the catalogue is packed with all sorts of sessions and workshops, ranging from technology in education, financial services, public safety and national security, to communications and media! Of course, there’s also going to be plenty of talks about cloud computing and security, but artificial intelligence and machine learning have continued to be big topics, so we’ll be sure to listen in on some talks and maybe even join in on a discussion group!
Connecting to the Future
Networking doesn’t always sound appealing, but at Inspire it’s a different story. With past attendance exceeding 16,000, Inspire is a great opportunity to connect with a huge representation of the worldwide Microsoft partner community in one location. It’s the perfect place to talk with like-minded people, explore new business opportunities, and establish relationships with some of the most influential professionals in the industry. Make sure to look out for us, and come for a chat!
Work Hard, Play Hard
It’s not all business and networking at Inspire. When you have a chance to visit one of the most famous capitals in the world, you need to do some sightseeing. If you have time before or after the event but want to keep it close to the convention center, the Lincoln Memorial, the National Gallery of Art, the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum and the Washington Monument are all within a three-mile radius.
Let’s not forget that Inspire has its own Partner Celebration event on the 12th July at Nationals Park. If you’re a country fan, get ready to enjoy a performance by country music superstar, Carrie Underwood!
We mentioned above that there would be a competition, and this year we have some great prizes up for grabs. The competition is only open to Inspire attendees; all you have to do is fill out a short form with your details, and you’ll be entered into the prize draw. This year’s prizes include:
The prize draw will take place at 1pm on Wednesday, July 12th at booth #1625; we look forward to seeing you there!
