Extracting a list of users with Litigation Hold Enabled

A simple but yet effective way of extracting a list of users that have Litigation Hold Enabled using Powershell.

If you’re using Office 365 and don’t want to mess around with PowerShell check out our Office 365 reports. We include a Litigation Hold report out of the box.

Otherwise, run the following cmdlet:
Get-Mailbox -IncludeLitigationHoldDuration | select Name, Lit* | ? {$_.LitigationHoldEnabled -eq $true}
Running the above command will give you a listed output shown in the graphic below.
