FSA Shell Extension

“Archive Now” functionality for file server data — at last! Enterprise Vault users have long wanted the ability to be able to right click on a file on a file server and archive a file immediately. With the FSA Shell Extension users will have their wish.

EVnearSync

One of our flagship products is EVnearSync. It is a powerful tool which enables you to replicate Enterprise Vault data to a nearby network share. It has a powerful graphical user interface, advanced alerting, monitoring and reporting features.

It monitors your storage locations and can automatically failover to the replica, and put Enterprise Vault in ‘Backup Mode’ should a problem occur. You can manually failover too, should you need to perform maintenance on your primary storage.

Archive Exchange Archive Mailbox

Many organisations have opted for Exchange 2010 Personal Archives and then later wanted to consolidate those archives into Enterprise Vault. This involved a long, labour-intensive process of exporting data to PST files and importing those into Enterprise Vault, or worse, putting all the data back in to the Exchange mailbox and then archiving it with Enterprise Vault.

Now with our Archive Exchange Archive Mailbox tool it is possible to do all these steps in an automated, schedulable tool which simplifies the end-to-end process. It is even possible to mirror the data into Enterprise Vault from Exchange, leaving a copy still in the Exchange Personal Archive, if required.

FSA Migrator

FSA Migrator allows Enterprise Vault administrators to consolidate archived and non-archived data ready for re-targeting by Enterprise Vault. Scanning for files, migration of archived data, and migration of non-archived data are also separately schedulable along with the number of threads to be used by the different components.

The data is verified using a hash algorithm once it is copied over to the target ensuring the best data integrity possible.

Local File Transfer

Local File Transfer is a smart “copy” tool, which you can easily deploy to your users. It allows users to select of source and target drives/folders in a Windows Explorer-like experience. When the copy process starts, it determines which data in the source-folder is already archived (an EV placeholder) and recalls the item directly to the users workstation.
